I have to admit, I am still riding high from theCelts Media Day earlier today. I haven’t stopped smiling since 10am this morning and I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. Repeating as Champs is extremely difficult. We got it all in this clip. That’s a little odd. In reality, everything we’ve seen from teams across the league this summer pretty much disproves this theory. Because they know what we know....

But I personally don’t find that to be too much of a story. Did it have basically the entire US Olympic team? Did it have the 1 seed? Did it have the unanimous MVP? But it didn’t have Caitlin Clark. You know what did, though? The Fever vs. Sun game….that had 1.84 million viewers. More than 500,000 more people that the rest of the games combined. Oh wait, the Sky aren’t even in the playoffs....

Im still sick to my stomach, and my bet was only going to win me $80. When is the NFL going to stop being so ridiculous? A quarterback taking a knee should not count as lost rushing yards. The game is already over by that point. The only reason teams run that play is to let the clock wind down and end the game. Weve seen common-sense rule changes in other sports....

Don’t let any trolls get in your head. The Bears made the right move drafting Caleb. He’s going to come good. Sunday was absolutely his best game so far. Still plenty of things for him to clean up, but he’s improving every week. We’ve never had a guy with this much talent. The excitement of that and the weapons perhaps clouded our judgement and our timeline. Those names above aren’t the problem....

Over the weekend we had a classic Internet video. Jerry Jones just talking about a guys dick size, classic football guy stuff. I mean it was him and Jamie Foxx, pretty clear as day since they are two recognizable people. So today he was finally asked about it. The method of deny, deny, deny which everyone knows never fails. Uh, no shit dude, we saw it on video. This is also one of the least shocking Jerry Jones stories....

What an exercise in duality Monday Night Football was this week. Four teams, all with highly-drafted quarterbacks of differing levels of experience. All four franchises completely dependent on the success of those quarterbacks. And between them, bearing witness to the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. The Alpha and Omega. Jayden Daniels had a performance for the agesin just his third start. Both through the air and running with the ball....
