As is often said, elections have consequences.
And that is always true.
Perhaps never more so than the one that was held almost exactly a month ago.
And its relationship to the American electorate it is meant to serve.
And that is the care of our veterans.

These things must take time.
Scouting out candidates you might be interested in.
Feeling out potential group sex enthusiasts who might be willing without violating the harassment guidelines.
Rejecting the ones somebody doesn’t want in a way that’s fair.
This probably requires ours of negotiation and a democratic process.
These 12-person gang bangs don’t organize themselves.
That a grateful nation wanted him to have.
So that a couple of hospital employees could drop their scrubs in a linen closet down the hall.
I stand with that guy holding the sign in that photo.
America won’t tolerate any cuts that have a negative impact on our veterans.
And I don’t doubt there’ll be plenty more where they came from.
