Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning.
Lots of callbacks to the first few movies between flashbacks, castings of legacy characters etc which I like.
That also telegraphs that this might be the last movie for this franchise.
Or, at least, the end of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt.
For my money’s worth, this has been one of the best franchises in cinema.
This hits theaters May 23rd.
