Dan Hurley getting caught telling Baylor that he hopes the refs don’t fuck them like he got fucked.
Perfect Hurley and frankly I found it hilarious.
It’s so outrageous and he’s not saying it to anybody in general.
He’s just kinda mentioning it to Baylor or Baylor fans.
He’s also away from everyone in the tunnel.
But because it’s Hurley people are losing their minds one way or another over it.
But you gotta defend your guy.
You gotta lean all the way in if you’re the SID for UConn.
People go after Hurley, you spin zone it and say how they shouldn’t have been recording there.
I actually agree with that.
This was in the tunnel, away from everything, we record way too much shit in life.
I’d say maybe don’t threaten someone’s life or career?
Even as a joke.
I too was a journalism major.
Hell, I was an SID in my life before Barstool.
But if another Bobby can say this stuff to defend his guy, I will be doing the same.
I do find the whole Hurley conversation pointless.
You’re not changing anyone’s mind.
UConn fans love him.
You’re not changing how you think of him.
He is who he is.
One of the best coaches in the game, who also has his antics and says whatever he wants.
Great coach, lunatic, possible asshole, the sport needs him.
