It was literally forever.
Think about it, at the time i was alive for what 8 years?
That was double my life for goodness sakes.
I’ve had friends now for 20 years, shit I’ve had a select few for 30 years.
None of those relationships feel like that long.
In 2004 I was 17, it feels like 10 minutes ago.
I mean all of it feels like 5 minutes have passed.
The other thing that silly little show made me realize is if the last twenty years flew by …
I’ll be 57 in no time.
I wrote this a year ago and it still rings true.
Every time I read that I tear up.
you might always make time for an old friend.
