I absolutely love the qualifying portion of the US Open.
It’s a chance to get some of this.
For those who don’t know, you have local qualifiers to advance to final qualifying.
Part of final qualifying is on June 2, dubbed the golf’s longest day.
Players play 36 holes on that day, hence the name.
But this is about who is currently out there.
We know all about the big names.
But you’re telling me we could get a Happy Gilmore in the US Open?
I want nothing more than these guys in the US Open.
Okay, maybe not Romo.
But give me Danny Woodhead.
Sure, he’s got nothing else going on right now because he’s a free agent.
That’s an easy blog and that’s all I care about.
Content, content, content.
Took balls no to WD or DNF like some others.
It’s one of the reasons why the US Open is the best.
You have a chance to go through qualifying as a nobody and make the thing.
