But one of those days that’s in the Bottom 5 of the year, without a doubt.

And they never have to tell me twice.
Other people aren’t so expendable.
Testa quickly hopped out of Engine Two and discovered a mother and her son inside the vehicle.

Thankfully, they were not injured in the crash.
The irony that David Testa and the boy talked about superheroes should be lost on no one.
“A hero can be anyone.
So he got an infinitely less painful lesson in what it means to be a hero.
A desire to help those in need.
Self-sacrifice when it’s required.
Simple, human kindness, even to total strangers.
And there are more blessings left in this world than we give it credit for.
