We’re talking about a team that only won 10 games in an entire season.
The Sixers drafted back-to-back busts with 1st overall picks in 2 years.
So many mysterious injuries.
So many disgusting playoff collapses.
But I truly believe this is as rock bottom as rock bottom could ever get.
It’s not like they didn’t have any of their guys available last night.
The Process era teams were awful, but they were designed to be awful.
That was the whole point.
They were strategically terrible.
The Sixers aren’t trying to tank right now.
It would be one thing if this team was actually trying to lose.
At least then you’d be able to say that they are accomplishing their goal.
They’re not trying to lose, but they sure as shit aren’t trying to win.
They have just given up.
Which is the most sickening thing you could ever see out of a professional sports team.
The coach, the general manager, the players, the owner.
So it really doesn’t even matter what happens with the rest of this season.
