I’m a Poch fan.
I know he didn’t have a good run at Chelsea, you could say whatever about PSG.
He was awesome at Tottenham.
He’s sort of made to overachieve with teams that don’t have the highest of expectations.
That’s the sort of guy I want with this US team.
Again, it’s crucial that you take a jump.
This group has talent.
That’s just a stone cold fact.
He has experience playing for Argentina.
He knows the international game despite never being a manager in that world.
I simply trust him.
I also like his style of play.
Take advantage of the guys we have in Pulisic, Adams, McKennie, Reyna, Flo, etc.
There are weapons, we just need to learn how to use it.
The development stopped, Poch is one of the best developers out there.
All I know is the US Soccer Federation needs to not fuck this up.
If this is all true, go get him.
I know Crocker has the relationship with Southgate.
But don’t let Poch just sit there while you try and wait to see what Southgate does.
Bring him in, give him the 2 years to the World Cup and figure it the hell out.
