But this fight right here is obviously different.
For starters, it’s teammates going at it on the bench.
It’s a 2-1 game in the first period.
Nothing has happened in the game to warrant this pop in of throwdown.
Not to get too cliche here, but these fellas have to be brawling over a broad.
Maybe someone on the team is banging this dude’s ex wife.
Or even better yet, maybe it’s not even his ex yet.
What do you even do in this situation if you’re the team in white?
Is this beer league organized enough that you could figure out a way to work out a trade?
Who do you even trade, though?
The dude whose old lady got plowed, or the teammate doing the plowing?
Maybe he’d be a good guy to move on from.
But if he’s a wildly better hockey player than the other guy?
