Its no secret the Magnificent Mile isnt quite what it used to be.
The pandemic, store vacancies and lets be honest crime have robbed the street of some of its luster.
But all is not lost.

So making the street more attractive to businesses and visitors could help the citys financial bottom line.
Here’s a radical idea guys.
Michigan Aveneue is fucking marvelous.

Actually it’smagnificent.Hence being dubbed, “The Magnificent Mile”.
Its streets are wide.
The sidewalks are as well.
People with taste appreciate nostalgia and history.
When they come to Chicago they want to see our art-deco and post-modern architecture.
They want to feel like they’re in a historic city.
Not like they’re in a cookie-cutter downtown like Tampa.
(No offense Tampa).
They also want to feel safe.
Want to know why people don’t want to go take a stroll on Michigan Avenue anymore?
And why did businesses close up shop and never come back?
And he couldn’t have been any more correct.
