As any fiction author will tell you, time travel is hard to write.

It’s as good as any.

But mostly because the ability to bend time and space would basically mean unlimited power.

All of existence would at one’s disposal to do with as they wished.

To shape events to suit your will.

Retroactively destroy anyone who stands in your waybeforethey ever stood in your way.

Which might be precisely what the United States of America has.

At least if you listen to what the White House has been saying lately.

He’s not just prone to hyperbole; it’s a tactic he uses all the time.

That’s he’s bluffing.

Pulling the old “This is a nice country you’ve got here.

It’d be a shame if anyone with a secret superweapon came along and wrecked” gag.

But then, there was this.

Which doesn’t sound like a hyperbolic tactics or bluffs at all.

Which sounds a lot like one of the most rational explanations for the UFO/UAP phenomena we’ve been experiencing.

And one of the most common.

That they are us.

It would make sense.

But there was a time when the atomic bomb was only theoretical too.

The Manhattan Project developed the Bomb in absolute secrecy too.

Same with Stealth plane technology and countless other top secret weapons programs.

Anyway, this would explain a lot.

All the secrecy and coverups.

The congressional investigation that has yielded practically no results.

The Pentagon’s inability to pass an audit.

Secret bases in the middle of nowhere whose existences were denied before they were confirmed.

If it’s real, we should all be grateful our science guys invented this before anybody else’s.

If it is just another bluff, it’s one hell of a bold one.

But I hope it is true.

And we get the big reveal on it as soon as possible.

As another great time traveler put it, the best weapon is one you only have to use once:
