That pain is still too fresh.
But as we know, there are two sides of the coin when it comes to AD.
Haven’t Mavs fans suffered enough?
Kind of a dick move by the Basketball Gods if we’re being honest.
That just feels like piling on and really twisting the knife.
When we first learned about this trade, everyone pretty much all said the same thing.
It has nothing to do with AD’s talent or his skillset, both of which are awesome.
So in a way, it took just 1 game for Mavs fans to get the full AD experience.
He can be incredible.
A dominant two way monster who can look like the best player on the planet for stretches.
But with that comes the injury that is ultimately unavoidable.
Again I’m not even a Mavs fan and I’m sick for that fanbase.
They are up just 1 in the loss column over GS (11 seed).
We all know how that’s going to go right?
He’s going to look awesome while Mavs fans are left with nothing but their dick in their hands.
It all feels wildly unfair, but also rather predictable.
So in some ways, it’s another fuck you to Nico Harrison for ruining things for no reason.
Even the Basketball Gods couldn’t believe he would do something like that.
But at the end of the day, I keep going back to Mavs fans.
You’ve suffered enough.
