I don’t care that Andrew Carr was out.
This was the first low point, the first embarrassing moment of the Mark Pope era.
That can’t happen.
Lamont Butler has to be injured, concussed or both.
There’s no way he can be this bad.
Now it’s time to see if this team has any balls.
You go on the road to Tennessee before hosting Calipari.
This is the week that can define this season.
Yeah, the SEC is a war, Vandy is a Tournament team, all that.
I don’t care.
That’s not why you lose this game.
All that after a week off.
You simply can’t come out that way.
Too many games Kentucky has done this and they’ve won some of them.
But now it’s all about figuring shit out and quite frankly being tough.
That’s why I want to see what sort of heart this team has.
No clue if Andrew Carr plays this week, the way he looked against Alabama I doubt it.
But this is now two games in a row Kentucky has lost because of how they closed a game.
This team isn’t talented.
They aren’t loaded with NBA talent.
They win because they execute.
you’ve got the option to’t turn it over 17 times and win.
This simply can’t happen.
You have all these seniors with a ton of experience.
Someone has to be willing to defend.
Someone has to calm shit down besides Pope at halftime.
Right now we’re entering the biggest week of Kentucky’s season.
This is the difference from a top-4 seed to being a 6 or 7 seed.
