Because ever since the calendar flipped to 2025, 36-year-old Patrick Kane has been an absolute monster.

31 points in his last 25 games, including FIVE last night against his hometown Sabres.

2 goals and 3 assists last night while the Red Wings dick slapped Buffalo.

What a goddamn gentleman.

12 goals and 19 assists over these last 25 games.

Now it’s not like the Red Wings have totally taken advantage of getting some vintage Showtime.

They’ve had a 6-game win streak during this stretch, but also a 6-game losing streak.

They won 4 Cups during that stretch.

It also just so happens that Patrick Kane personally won 3 Cups during that stretch of time as well.

But the Red Wings haven’t made it back to the playoffs since that streak ended.

If anybody is able to bring Hockeytown back to life, it’s old man Showtime.
