It started off with a 102-point rookie campaign in 2005-06.
And he’s had at least 1 point-per-game in every season since.
Obviously there was a lockout shortened 2012-13 season.
Obviously there was a COVID shortened 2020-21 season.
Sidney Crosby is currently 9th all-time in career points.
If he doesn’t miss all those games and continues scoring at his 1.25 ppg pace?
He’s currently 2nd all-time in points behind only Gretzky.
They’ve been rendered to nothing more than a bunch of “what if’s”.
But Sidney Crosby has found a way to keep producing year after year after year.
Plenty of guys have great stretches of their career, but this has been Sid’s entire career.
Who knows how much longer we’ll get to watch Sid and Ovi play out there.
