On July 7th, an “Amish” girl named Spice (@spice0765) posted a TikTok.

4.1M views & 481.9K likes.

People were fascinated with her because she was Amish, and Amish people shouldn’t have phones.

In hindsight, that probably should have tipped everyone off that this whole thing was a ruse.

But Amish people can be sneaky.

They’re people just like anyone else.

Regardless, everyone believed her.

So she said, “Well shit… these dumbasses all think I’m actually Amish.

I guess I’ll just be Amish.”

Or at least enough people that she started to get big.

She’d post a new video about every other day.

After only a month, she had accumulated 286.8K followers.

She racked up roughly 80M views in only 18 total posts.

All just basic TikTok dances, or simple videos using whatever the trendy filter of the day was.

Whenever we go back to their hometown we encounter some Amish.

So because of that I’m always interested in anything Amish related.

Me and my brothers were all still kids.

So obviously were like, “Fuck that.”

We said, “Dad that sounds super awkward, do we have to?”

He said, “Yes”.

Then we said, “We can’t just barge in.

Does he even know we’re coming?”

My dad said, “Well it’s not like I can call ahead of time.”

Which was a pretty fair point.

So our family pulled up to their Amish home in a mini van.

We just walked right through the front door.

I believe the dad’s name was Menno.

Menno gathered his entire family around the living room.

They all had their own rocking chairs.

Suddenly there was family of like 15 Amish just staring at us like we were aliens.

The mom brought us a bunch of chocolates.

Then the dad went around the room and introduced everybody to us.

It was quite the experience.

We should really stop by and see them again someday.

So whenever I see anything Amish related I typically check it out.

Kinda wish I would have thought of that one.
