From a golf standpoint, this is awesome.
There’s no other way to say it.
We saw their finish at Pinehurst, but that was in two different pairs.
Even with the lead you have Conners, Reed, Aberg and Scottie all lurking.
Nick Faldo came back from 6 down 29 years ago, so, you never know.
How we got here is rather simple.
He never did though.
Meanwhile you had Rose struggling, Lowry up and down, Conners doing the same and the leaderboard grew.

That’s how you end up with this final pairing.
It’s probably the storyline everyone wanted to see the most, maybe have Scottie here instead.
But you get the rematch from the US Open.
You have the Rory choke/grand slam storyline.
You have guys lurking and seeing who can make a run.
Throw in the LIV vs PGA thing and it adds.
Hell, Rory vs Bryson as a mini Ryder Cup, I don’t care.
All I know is Sunday at the Masters is going to be goddamn awesome and I can’t wait.
