Now, seeing a show at Red Rocks has long been on my bucket list.

But add in the fact I got to see my favorite band there, that was extra special.

Everything that you’ve ever heard about Red Rocks is accurate.

I’ve seen shows and my favorite bands everywhere.

I saw Oasis in London.

I saw Blink-182 at MSG.

I also saw OAR at MSG (and basically everywhere else).

But there’s something indescribable about Red Rocks…it’s just….perfect.

Now, I love Colorado.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be I would spend more time outside.

So any time I get the chance to be one with nature, I take it.

It’s not overwhelming either- it all blends together perfectly to give you the perfect concert-going experience.

I would say if there was any downside it’s that the venue is maybetoodistracting.

The crowd for the show was as lively and wild as it gets.

From the opening note of Black Rock (great opener btw) the crowd didn’t mellow at all.

Even during a new song called “Lightning Up My Sleeve” the crowd was going bananas.

I will never miss an OAR Red Rocks show again (this was number 15!

), that’s for sure.

And also, just the city of Denver is splendid.

I loved Denver, loved climbing a mountain, and loved the concert.

And another shout out to the state of Colorado- beautiful place!

And to be in Denver on Todd Helton Day was simply the cherry on top.

10/10 weekend, can’t wait to go back!
