Being in a fight sounds awesome in theory, as long as things go your way.
Having the high ground appears the most ideal in that scenario.
Just a clear advantage.

Imitating Muhammad Ali in front of a crowd feels like something you only pull off in a day dream.
For about 20 seconds this fella at the Padres game had it all.
At the 11 second mark I became fully convinced this guy was Neo from the Matrix.
Once he dodged that avalanche of punches people began to murmur that something special was happening.
This fella had never thrown a punch in his life.
Not a single one.
He’s the Iowa football of boxing.
Eventually though, that fails you.
Having no counter attack in your bag will do you in.
Just throw one punch dude.
I’m begging you to initiate some offense.
How was that the plan?
Were you just expecting to dodge every punch until he collapsed to the ground in exhaustion?
The bad news with that plan?
The guy in the black shirt definitely had some sort of fighting experience going into this.
He stayed in the box and just kept throwing until one got through.
Then it was over.
That’s how you get the three stages of overconfidence gone wrong.
Gotta hang em' up after that.
No more fights for you sir.
