And that is our perception of Tillman.
And he’s been honored as such.
And that list includes the ESPY created in to honor him, the Pat Tillman Service Award.
A few years before that, it went to Air Force Sgt.
There are recipients that are far more fitting.
There are individuals working in the veteran community that are doing tremendous things to assist veterans.
These individuals do not have the money, resources, connections or privilege that Prince Harry has.
I feel that those types of individuals should be recognised.
But the decision to honour him has led to a backlash.

Pat Tillman was a unifying force for good.
There are many unsung heroes who are far more deserving.
We worship celebrities a lot more than we did back then.
To be totally fair to The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Harry, the man deserves tons of credit.

But two things can be true at once.
