First of all, I see like 6 people in the stands after that fight. Which leads me to believe this wasn’t just some random beer league game. This has to be some senior whale shit hockey. Kim English had himself a hell of a year. This is why I’m cool with what he said. They basically quit late in the year and you could see it play out over and over again. He’s also not blaming the players here: It’s a fascinating situation. You attempt to hire someone younger before other people do and see what happens. He’s also had to deal with Bryce Hopkins getting hurt which just completely derailed everything he built....
A 5-2 finish is a 58.5 win pace, which is essentially what the 2024-25 Celtics are on. So in the end, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. As a Celtics fan, it leaves you in a bit of a weird place.
