My Dear Dante, I’ve been enjoying your “Hottest Olympic Athletes in Paris” series. For my part, I do not watch the Olympics to judge the attractiveness of the athletes. Heck, I don’t even see what they look like! I care only about their form, performance, flexibility, muscle tone, spirit, backstory, etc. How do they carry themselves in defeat? Which of their family members died unexpectedly, spurring them to throw that shotput an extra foot?...

The point is, Kerr seems obsessed with creating all of this drama for no apparent reason. Now, when it comes to the media, there are two sides here. I want to make that clear. It all just feels a little strange. Would anyone blame Tatum/Brown/Embiid etc for saying thanks but no thanks for 2028? But does he really mean it? Would he bench Steph Curry if he went, say, 1 for 9 and got torched on defense? Or is he only okay with doing it when it’s Tatum, Hailburton, and Embiid?...
