I dont understand why the sports world is in an uproar over the Yankees using torpedo bats. Why does it matter if they add more girth to the most crucial part of the bat? This controversy seems blown out of proportion. The goal isnt just to make contact; its to maximize performance where it counts. Think about itstanding in the batters box with a bat thats only effective at the tip isnt sustainable....
Forget the fact we have four No. 1 seeds in the Final Four, no one should have a problem with that. It’s the fact we haven’t had that moment yet. But other than that? This is how the Tournament goes. But like Titus says quickly on that clip, we’re running out of time. We’re lacking the drama which is what people want to see. At the same time, this is why the Final Four should be awesome....
So these are all guys who I’m sure Zeev Buium would consider like brothers at this point. Especially guys like Ryan Leonard, Gabe Perreault, and Drew Fortescue who were on both teams with him. That’s something you get to have over them for the rest of your life now. Anytime you get the boys back together for a weekend, or just for dinner and drinks. What a start of the season for Red Sox third base….sorry DH Rafael Devers! Seems like that would do wonders for team chemistry and for sure was a great welcoming gift to Bregman. He’s struck out 10 times in the first 3 games, a new MLB record. And although it’s early maybe that is what Devers is going to have to deal with. Bregman won a Gold Glove quite literally last season....
