‘The Acolyte’ was truly a bizarro series. One incredibly intense, technical swordfight move might be followed up 3 seconds later with thedumbestlooking wire fight movement. A great performance by Manny Jacinto will give way to a stupid ewok dude throwing a tantum. It was truly maddening. On top of that, there are just bizarro, canon-busting scenes like introducing a memory wipe force power. Just a massive mess. I do think there are some positives that hopefully make it into other Star Wars series, though....
Clay Holmes is such a fascinating baseball player to analyze. When you look at his numbers you see a very good relief pitcher. When you watch him you have legit zero confidence he can get you three outs to save a game. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a great closer though. After last night, Holmes leads the league in blown saves with 10. His 1.3 WHIP this year helps paint the picture of constant traffic on the bases....

I’m curious, who exactly isn’t giving Dame the credit he deserves? It’s why Dame Time is a thing! Who realistically does not give Dame credit as an outside shooter other than Paul George? By now there should be no spoilers as everybody has had plenty of time to watch this latest season. it took me this longsince it came out (June 26h)to finish it. That’s how rough of a season it was. Several of my friends gave up on it completely. If it’s not sports I don’t usually watch TV. “The Bear” was perfect for this. Even the prototypical “misunderstood asshole” Ritchie. But this season was different....
