It was long overdue that Twinkies made an appearance on our show considering they are an OG in the snack game and once brought the entire internet together when we thought they were going to be killed off. They did not let us down with their Limited Edition Mystery Flavor, which was our first episode of our second batch of reviews. Shout out everyone that noticed Eddie and I were wearing the same shirts for more than 25 episodes since we taped them mere hours after winning The Dozen back in June....

As we inch closer and closer to the NBA season (just 57 days away! For some reason, Giannis has becomeseverelyunderrated. Then I started to think more about it and honestly, something doesn’t quite add up. In addition to that, some of these results from ESPN’s survey are just as confusing. For example, the 2024-25 MVP. Not a single vote for Giannis? That feels…..crazy. Giannis hasn’t finished outside of the top 5 for MVP since the 2017-18 season....

That’s how you handle the situation. You don’t deny when you start to run your mouth. You admit that you meant every word you say, just that you didn’t want it publicly. But even more impressive is how you play against them. Hat trick does all the talking for you, especially with the boos you were catching during the game. I say it all the time, but this is what I want more of in sports....

Anyone can do it. But this week, its different. Theres no lying to yourself. Everyone knows theyll be betting on college football, for better or for worse. Hopefully, everyone reading this sweeps the board, but lets be realmost of us are going to lose. So instead, I just let it hang. He snuck up behind me, ripped it off, and I didnt even notice. Thats what it feels like when your bet is dead at halftime....

One thing that Orioles reliever Cionel Perez loves doing is getting big time outs in high leverage spots. But that is his job, it’s not his hobby. His biggest hobby is posting up in the bullpen and catching Orioles home run balls with his hat. Yes, you heard that right. He’s really made it his own thing. On Sunday Night Baseball they showed a little hype video about it and what do you know?...

But from there, well there’s no other way to put it…..they were Ass. And is now talking their shit from the mountain tops. And they’re not the only one taking shots at Florida State, either. Kirk Herbstreit did as well, just a little more subtly… There’s nothing better than this sport. Can’t wait til it actually starts next week.

I’m not upset by any means that Ted Lasso is coming back for a 4th season. It’s a good show. It’s a damn near perfect show to watch as a couple. Toss it on, knock out some episodes and both people can sit back and watch it. Everyone in a relationship knows that’s a key thing to have. But here’s my problem. What the fuck was the ending in season 3 for?...

Daytona never disappoints and this weekend was no different. Now Harrison Burton got the team their 100th win in dramatic fashion. However, it was Jeff Burton who made it all that more dramatic. A special moment indeed. Congrats to Wood Brothers, Harrison, and the entire Burton family on a very special moment. In the face of adversity, Harrison Burton never lifted. Welcome back to another episode of Dumping Them Out. I’ve been trying to find a decent true crime podcast to listen to when I go to sleep. Any podcast that has remotely interesting crime stories will do. I’m not looking for a true crime series either. I don’t want something well put together (i.e. Serial, or The Case where Kirk Minihane solves an actual murder over however many episodes). Just something with individual stories to put me to sleep....

I haven’t seen a fight like this since Jose Ramirez knocked Tim Anderson out cold last baseball season. But those were boys being boys. Not the norm, but nothing that we’ve never seen before. From what I can tell, #2 from Rutgers fouled the girl from UMass. Ref calls it and another UMass girl runs over to pick up the ball and play on. I guess none of it happens if #2 doesn’t foul?...

What a Little League World Series. I watched more Little League World Series games this year than I’d care to admit. Honestly I probably watched 80% of the games start to finish. I was a little league baseball umpire for 10 years of my life. Not in the actual “Little League” organization. I always umpired USSSA & Nation’s Baseball. Honestly, I don’t even know where Little League is played. I’ve been confused about where these “Little League” teams come my whole life....

There’s a lot of wild accusations thrown around on the internet. A lot of jokes that fly around. Typically at other people’s expense. Which for the most part, I’m a proponent of.
