It’s about free will and how important that is. It’s something that can be easily taken for granted. When you see Truman not have it, it’s shocking. Those details allow us to fully believe that this is Truman’s life. Weir would only direct two more movies after this (Master & Commander and The Way Back). Well, what can you say? That is a little something we like to call home field advantage. Only 3 schools have their entire student body show up for every home game and can boast that advantage. “Our trio’s down to two.” Student sections are part of what make college football special. The various traditions, the camaraderie, and the spirit of those sections impact the flow of the game. Not to mention, students take pride in watching their school compete....
I tried to block out all the storylines leading up to last night but I couldn’t escape them. But going to a rival hurts so, so bad. It’s cruel and unusual punishment watching your guy cross enemy lines. I hate how damn good he looks in that uniform, I hate it.
