The Franchise This is a brand new series based on stories of creating big-budget franchise movies. The premise and the fact that it is HBO is already a great sign. What should really sell you, though, is two names: Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci. Some really good suspense and killer acting from the reemerging Josh Hartnett. The Diplomat S2 This show really flew under the radar but it was damn good. Great acting from Keri Russell and some really well crafted political intrigue. It has a great hit rate and the Robinson-Richardson dynamic is fantastic. The Platform 2 The first platform was, in my opinion, a pretty under-appreciated thriller movie. Not sure how it lends to a sequel but we’ll find out.
