Hell of a way to put a bow on the greatest season in Bowling Green Falcon football history. Some people might say it was the greatest season by a TE in the history of college football. For anyone who knows CBS or watched one Selection Sunday, you know Greg Gumbel. The man was the face of Selection Sunday. He was a staple of my life for well over 30-years as he was on the CBS group. There was something about his voice that just let you know it was time. That’s what I’ll always remember Greg Gumbel by. I know there was more of the NBA guys lately....

They are the most-streamed NFL games in U.S. history, according to Nielsen. The previous record was 23 million, set by Peacock for a Dolphins-Chiefs playoff game in January. Nielsen also said 65 million total U.S. viewers watched the stream. I normally wouldn’t care about this, and would let sleeping dogs lie. But Greenie has turned this into a thing and here we are. Because I fucking hate the NFL. I love the Patriots....

The NBA in 2024isawesome. Itis notboring and isverywatchable. But you actually have to watch it. Every single game today delivered. SA/NYK gave us a great early game and some historic Wemby shit. BOS/PHI was my own personal hell, but it was still a great game. Even Roger Goodell thought he could sneak his way in and make this day about the NFL. Hey bozo, football was never going to steal Christmas....

So earlier this morning news broke that Jim Larranaga was stepping down/retiring/quitting/whatever word you want to use here. Pretty shocking news considering it’s December 26. That’s my problem with it. Now, I say all that because it’s the only talking point when it comes to coaches retiring. That said, Larranaga is a legend in the coaching game. He took George Mason and Miami to a Final Four. Still have no idea how they beat that UConn team....
