I don’t think this was necessarily surprising. Auburn was favored by 4.5, but it’s not like this was something insane. It was the perfect situational spot for A&M. I had to admit, my feelings were hurt when he left. I was a certified Coen-head. Licht got it done and gave him the money he wanted the next day. Afterwards, Coen wanted a bit higher of a figure. Licht and co. said that the number was the number and they couldn’t do more. A stipulation with the deal was that Coen wouldn’t be able to interview for other Head Coaching jobs....
Today was Mintzy vs. Klemmer Pro Day II. The hype was incredible. And Mintzy got out of the gates HOT, immediately disregarding the rules of the Tootsie Pop licking contest. He did redeem himself with a hilarious Chinese food order in Mandarin. Or his best Mandarin. There were three boxes. The guesser was blindfolded with noice cancelling headphones on. It didn’t matter.
