The Mintzy/Klemmer Pro Day II went great, but one event that kinda sucked was bubble ball soccer. It’s an event that is meant for an attack. You’re in a giant bubble, so it’s possible for you to’t really get hurt. But both competitors shied away from the physical aspect of it. That wasn’t the case today. It went how you think it would go. With the obvious limitations, I was asked to be on deck....

In Year 2 in Oxford, Chris Beard has led a spectacular turnaround of Ole Miss Basketball! What a scene in The Pavilion! I never thought I would see Ole Miss hoops rock like this….. Seniors Jaemyn Brakefield, Matt Murrell & Sean Pedulla could not have gone out more in style. All Chris Beard has done is win everywhere he goes. Beard took over a program in shambles. In Year 1 he won 20 games but missed the NCAA Tourney....

But I still don’t think anyone actually expected him to get traded. Right away, everyone considered the Carolina Hurricanes to be the big winner of the trade. They got the best player in the deal. They had the cap space to work with to sign him to an extension. They had some fellow Finnish players on the roster to make him feel at home. Everyone immediately assumed this move put the Carolina Hurricanes all in to win a Cup....

If this happens, I will celebrate so unapologetically that I might just dance myself into an early grave. And lets be honestthat performance was mid at best. Oh, it would be so, so sweet. The more I let my mind wander to this possibility, the more I need it to become reality. And the best part? FIFA is already dialed into the rivalry. Its the ultimate checkmate. The other day, it was a big deal when LeBron officially started the 50,000 Points Club. But we’re also talking about a Club that maybe 1% of NBA players will ever join.
