So yesterday was the big Tate vote.
Essentially Tate apologized to NY for being an asshole and threw himself at the mercy of the court.
Many have called the entire ordeal cringy, weird, awkward etc.
Id probably agree with all most of those adjectives, but thats neither here nor there.
Instead Tate has finally gotten what apparently he has wanted since he started here.
Daddy to acknowledge him.
Now ordinarily I dont pay much attention to Tate.
Him calling me Yankee Dave doesnt really move the needle.
Him writing 100,000 word dissertations that Im never gonna read doesnt move the needle.
Here are 3 simple texts that basically shows why everybody in the NY hates his guts.
Because his public persona is far different than his timid little mouse behind closed doors persona.
(Keep in mind these are almost all the interactions Ive had with him since he was hired.
There is no smoking gun here.
This was in February.
#3 This was the only communication we had about the relocation vote.
He never once mentioned any of the shit he mentioned yesterday.
He seemed totally fine with it.
He acted like he was totally fine with it on camera as well.
So there you have it.
Thats pretty much the extent of the private conversations Ive had with Tate since he’s worked here.
Hes always been civil when Ive seen him in person.
There is no hidden blowout behind the scenes.
I helped him and he didnt mention 1 thing about the vote or his living situation.
Hes been on camera multiple times appearing to be okay with the move.
I think I event told Dan at one point he seems fine with it.
Then yesterday he goes scorched earth on me with blatant lies.
Listen I dont care when my employees talk shit to me.
So I honestly dont know what Tates end game is.
