We’re not dumb here.
We know UConn didn’t have Liam McNeeley, but it doesn’t matter.
The committee will still see Nova beat UConn and that’s all that matters.
He’s basically college basketball’s Joe Burrow.
He’s an All-American on a bad team that is finding ways to win because of him.
He’s not NPOY, just like Joe Burrow isn’t MVP.
But everyone knows how good they are.
That’s the best comparison I can make.
Hell, it’s not like Nova has many other options and all eyes go to Dixon.
Now we’re looking at Nova on the right side of the bubble.
If not, they are firmly on the bubble.
They play St. John’s over the weekend and if they get that win, all seems right.
That’s why I say he’s saving Kyle Neptune’s career and the Nova program.
Everyone assumed this was a Nova zombie season.
I do wonder this though.
All I know is Nova is back, kind of.
They aren’t Jay Wright Villanova, but they aren’t a fucking disaster like we all thought.
Kyle Neptune should be thanking Eric Dixon every day.
PS: This wasn’t a foul
PPS: College basketball’s review system is broken.
4 reviews in the last minute of the game is fucking absurd.
We need challenges and stop giving free timeouts to teams.
