I mean no Cinderella means no one would ever watch such a thing.
Basically some form of this statement has been said over and over again.
Well, people still love the NCAA Tournament.

It’s almost like the big names draw people in.
You want the best possible games for the second weekend, especially when you get to the standalone games.
The last thing you want is a blowout.
Look at the numbers.
The games with the biggest numbers?
Kentucky, Duke, Illinois, Baylor, Kansas, Arkansas.
You’re looking at recent national champions, the 2 biggest brands in the sport, Calipari and Illinois.
That says it all.
It’s growing at the same time people want to scream the sport is dead.
Fact is as long as a school name is on that jersey, fans are going to watch.
I’ll say it again.
I want the transfer portal to change.
Seems like the fair plan for everyone involved.
Just a little fact that should probably be pointed out.
At the same time the transfer portal shouldn’t be open right now.
Push it back until after the Final Four so it makes sense.
But the point stands.
You’re an idiot if you keep screaming the sport is dead.
People are watching, people will always watch.
