I found the perfect coaching comp to Matt Eberflus.
It’s a coach so bad I’m pretty sure most Lions fans forgot all about him.
Good ole Marty Mornhinweg of the Lions from 2001 all the way to 2002.
0-16 on the road on Sunday was Marty.
This is simply stunning.
Maybe 0-16 wasn’t even that bad all things considered.
But look at what this pile of pud has in Chicago.
A stud rookie wide receiver and stud tight end.
Now let’s be fair for a moment here.
Eberflus has won three road games.
They just didn’t play those games on Sunday.
That’s right, he beat Bailey Zappe, Joshua Dobbs, and Sam Howell.
But you know what?
I’m going to call my shot here.
I know the Bears never fire a coach during the season.
But if Ryan Poles really is different - he’ll know he needs to cut his losses.
Keeping this dolt one more week could ruin next year too.
And look at the length of tenure for the coaches around him on that list.
Everyone else is looking at 2-3 years.
What’s the point of waiting?
