Understandably, emotions were high last night in Dallas for the return of Luka Doncic.

Then of course, there was the Mark Cuban factor.

There is blood on his hands even if he’s tried his hardest to remove himself from the conversation.

At the end of the day, he hired Nico.

He sold to the current ownership group.

He may not be the main culprit in this outcome, but he did play a role.

It was the perfect combination of sadness for someone like Cuban.

To me, that looks like a broken man going through hell as reality sets in.

Does he feel responsible?

Is it finally hitting him what a mistake he made despite cashing out for billions by selling his shares?

It’s what made him such a great owner during his tenure.

Something tells me he’s not upset at the fanbase for chanting “FIRE NICO”.

My guess is deep down, he agrees with them.

But again, this is what can happen when you give up your control as an owner.

The tradeoff for that, is the money.

The look on his face tells me the answer to that question is probably “YES”.
