Tough go of it recently for Seattle Mariners' announcer Rick Rizzs.
Take a listen to the broadcast and you might hear how scary it was.
He couldn’t even finish his sentence and he was hit.
Sounded like he went down like a pile of bricks too.
over and over while he’s obviously sitting there in pain.
you could hear him groaning in pain, of course it hit him!
That’s just a tough SOB right there.
Hockey announcer probably misses a week or 2, not Rizzs though.
No major injury or concussion for Rizzs so he was good to go.
That will keep ya awake up in the booth too I bet.
