I never fancied myself much of a Paraguayan swimming fan.
That was until I learned about Luana Alonso.
Back in 2020, Luana competed at the Tokyo Olympics.
Before she swam in the butterfly, Luana went mega viral on Twitter:
35 million views.
Unfortunately for the SMU swimmer, she did not make it past the heat stage in Paris.
Still an impressive career, nonetheless.
Now she can go thrive as a college student at SMU.
Who knows where life will take her next.
