All summer, all I heard was, “You have to go to Lollapalooza.”
After months of hearing the same spiel, I finally caved to the pressure and went on Saturday.
It was disappointing, to say the least.
Dogshit Lineup
My God, Ive seen better lineups at a middle school dance.
However, this years lineup felt cheap and poorly planned.
Impossible to find a Liquor Tent
This was by far the biggest shock to me.
Never in my life have I attended a music festival with only one liquor tent.
What the fuck are we doing here?
The venue was gigantic!
How on Earth do you only have one liquor tent?
Making people walk miles just to buy a single hard liquor drink is INSANE.
But hey, they can sell tall boys at every stage!
High Costs
This isn’t an uncommon theme at music festivals.
However, the prices at Lollapalooza were atrocious.
I set my bank account back a solid two weeks just by walking in there.
But at Lollapalooza, it felt like you were being scammed.
The lackluster lineup, lack of liquor and high costs all contributed to an underwhelming experience.
