There’s not another city on planet Earth like Philadelphia when it comes to sports.
There’s NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, NLL.
With so many teams calling Philadelphia home, there’s a strong sense of family among all the teams.
Each team constantly rooting for the success of all the others.
Or, at least, that’s what we thought…. A rising tide lifts all ships, after all.
That is, of course, every pro team besides the 76ers.
Trying to sell tickets to watch the Sixers get pummeled by Jokic and the Nuggets on Friday.
No mentions of the Eagles.
Not a single “Go Birds”.
Obviously this has the weasel’s fingerprints all over it.
What a small, sad little man Josh Harris is.
Get your ass back to the Wells Fargo Center".
So what does he do?
Sure, they may play their home games in Philadelphia.
But for all intents and purposes, that’s it.
They’re not the Philadelphia 76ers anymore.
They’re just the Sixers.
There’s literally zero need for anyone in Philly to care about that loser franchise anymore.
Because just like every other team that Josh Harris owns, the Sixers have won absolutely nothing.
Personally, I think that would be a terrific “fuck you” to Josh Harris from Mr. Lurie.
The situation of Jeffrey Lurie purchasing the Celtics couldn’t be any further from Josh Harris buying the Commanders.
Jeffrey Lurie has brought a championship to this city already.
So he’s earned the right to do whatever he wants at this point.
And also, this is a football town at the end of the day.
The Eagles are the clear #1 here.
