Who is Jordan Love?
Going into this year he was kinda whoever you wanted him to be.
It was all subjective based around the narrative your heart desired.
1st half 2023 Jordan Love was a mess.
He looked like a rookie way in over his head.
LaFleur didn’t even feel comfortable calling aggressive plays because the trust wasn’t there.
Then in the 2nd half you’d have a hard time finding any QB who played better than him.
That’s just how it goes having a promising young QB whose contract is up.
You’d love to have more games under his belt before, but not everything is perfect.
Right now he’s got way more Brett Favre in him.
He’ll bomb the ball deep and trust his receivers to make plays.
That leads to amazing plays and also disasters.
Luckily for him Jayden Reed is incredible and made a great play on the ball.
While it was a questionable decision to attempt the throw, the ball was special.
With that kind of spectacular play you also get CTE mid-2000s Favre.

But yeah this looked a lot like the bad version of Favre.

Things could look cleaner no doubt, but you gotta be happy with everything so far.

The defense made a game winning stand vs. Stafford thanks to rookies stepping up.
If not they’ve got plenty of other weapons to step up.
