The past few days has been nothing but a resounding victory for Joel Embiid.
Didn’t throw a single punch, didn’t tackle him to the ground or anything.
At that moment, Marcus Hayes found out that actions have consequences.
His actions of writing that bullshit column carried the consequence of getting little boy’d by Joel Embiid.
It goes both ways, however.
3 games that he probably wasn’t going to play anyway.
It’s no longer load management, it’s being a hero.
Sure, these 3 games he has to miss are now going to be without pay.
But the man signed a 3-year, $193 million contract extension.
I think he can afford to miss a few games.
That way we can also stop giving Marcus Hayes the attention that he so desperately seeks.
Seems pretty fair to me.
