The Mets got the hint real quick and walked him throughout their recent two meetings.
Seems like no one did though.
Baltimore, Tampa, Boston, Philly, and Toronto all recently decided it was worth the gamble.

That’s what Judge did today in the first inning against Jose Berrios.
Absolutely stupid that he hit that out.
Thought he for sure got jammed and that would at best dunk in between the left and center fielders.

Nope, into the visitor’s bullpen.
Hilarious power and exceptional hands.
That was a mistake he did not get back.
So today after Judge’s first inning homer, Jays manager John Schneider had enough.
Just hold up four fingers and take your chances with literally any other human being.
You have to go back to 1972 when it happened to Glenn Borgmann.
Is John Schneider a coward?
No doubt, but I totally get the move.
Every day now we get a Judge stat that seems entirely fake.
This was the most recent one.
He really is the best hitter I’ve seen since Bonds.
The transformation he’s made since his rookie year has been incredible to witness.
At first he stood far too upright, looking like he was oversized for the sport.
His stance wasn’t athletic enough to cover the whole plate.
Sliders low and away would constantly fool him.
It’s a privilege to watch him play every day.
41 homers on August 3rd is silly.
Even sillier when you factor in he didn’t start hitting until May.
