He’s 100% right about a few things here.
The college basketball replay system is broken.
Games are going nearly 2.5 hours in regulation because every single call in the last 2 minutes is reviewed.
Refs are afraid to make calls because they know they can just go to the monitor.
Where he really embraced debate though is the quarters.
Nobody and I mean nobody starts yelling at each other like college basketball fans and quarters.
Yeah, there should be quarters with fouls resetting but I don’t want to lose the one-and-one.
Free throw shooting contests fucking suck.
No one enjoys watching a game like that.
This is where the war comes in between fans.
Some love having halves because it’s all we know in college basketball.
Some want quarters because why are we the only game in the sport that doesn’t play in quarters?
Reset fouls after each quarter.
The biggest problem though is the replay system.
I’m telling anyone and everyone know who might not watch college basketball until this month.
You will get annoyed.
It’s the only sport that hasn’t figured out how to change their replay system yet.
Get the ball back in play and let’s go.
Games should be 2 hours max.
