I wouldve said whatever backup QB we had on the roster.
I dont think its like a light switch.
My whole life (I’m 32) the Colts have been above average.

Sometimes they were even great.
But they’ve never been hopeless.
There was always something to cheer for.

When Peyton Manning left, they immediately & successfully tanked for Andrew Luck.
But Chris Ballard never got those pieces.
They’ve been nothing more thanmaybean above .500 team ever since he took over.
or “Wait, what happened to him?”
He was the Colts' first pick in 2019.
I forgot he existed.
When you look back on what Chris Ballard has done, you realize he’s done nothing at all.
There weren’t necessarily any egregious mistakes.
At least it secured a high draft pick.
A pick used on Anthony Richardson.
Who’s been… well, he’s been entertaining.
I’ve soured a bit on Pat McAfee lately.
Not due to any of his Colts takes.
Mostly just because I find him kind of annoying.
Sometimes when I watch his show I wonder if he’s doing a parody of himself.
I gotta think he’s got the situation pegged.
The Colts are far from the biggest dumpster fire, or the most hopeless team in the NFL.
But there’s clearly something missing beyond what a few more talented players can bring to the table.
The Colts are an uninspiring football team.
For anybody who’s not a Colts fan, the Colts are just kinda just there.
Nobody thinks about them.
The Colts were like like a tinderbox that finally caught fire this year.
It’s not even about the quarterback situation at this point.
They’ve only gotten worse.
He wants to win as much as anyone.
He does care what Colts' fans think about the team.
And he certainly doesn’t want Pat McAfee mad at him.
I’d be shocked if we don’t see a major overhaul after next week.
He knows how close he is to losing people.
Don’t let it happen Jim.
Fire the entire coaching staff.
Make the Colts great again.
You know who to call.
