On August 8th, 2004…
The boat immediately returned to its dock, and passengers were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for testing.
Some of the passengers suffered nausea and vomiting as a result of exposure to the human waste.
So what was the fallout?
The driver of the bus was sentenced to 150 hours of community service and fined $10,000.
No one died that day.
But many wish they had.
