They are a flat-out miserable watch right now.

The team did not in fact wake up this weekend when the Red Sox paid them a visit.

Ben Rice’s incredible 3 homer game on Saturday did not spark a thing.

Instead they extended their win-less series streak to SEVEN.

On June 14th the Yankees became the first team in baseball to reach 50 wins.

They currently have 55.

They can’t pitch or hit.

Whenever they decide to do one of those, the other area blows up in their face.

Imagine continuously fucking up at your workplace and using Boone’s excuses to get out of it?

Boss: Seven years in a row your numbers are not where they need to be.

There’s really not much here to show positive growth.

You: We need to be better, but it’s right in front of us.

We’re about to turn a corner.

After seven years you would be out of a job.

Not Boone, he gets contract extensions.

And if you’re wondering if this Yankees slide feels all familiar?

That’s because it is!

And let me be very clear, Boone is not THE singular problem with the team.

Brian Cashman’s roster construction is abysmal and has them set up for failure.

I’ve said that a bunch on here.

But Boone is absolutely part of the problem.

He does not make one player on that team better.

He is consistently out-managed when it comes to facing Cora or any other good manager out there.

It’s not even close either.

Volpe over the last month+ has been abysmal.

Everything is either a weak grounder or a lazy fly out.

His power has vanished.

DJ LeMahieu is a corpse who is painful to watch run.

Gleyber has been a disaster in his contract year.

Verdugo has fallen off a cliff since his hot start.

When all four of those guys are sliding you don’t have a chance.

Why pitch to Judge or Soto when you have those guys to worry about after?

There’s no fear.

He hit two last night, and another one on Saturday vs. Cole.

Here were Boone’s thoughts after the game.

16 of those have come at Yankee Stadium.

Did you see where this pitch was?

A foot into the other batter’s box and he pulls it 420 feet.

There’s no being careful to Rafael Devers.

He’s shown that through many examples.

It’s right in front of Boone though, that much is for sure true.

Hold someone accountable one time, I’m begging you.

Get me to the All Star Break, I’m mentally exhausted.

Boone said DJ was hustling on this play.

Even reviewed the footage and doubled down the next day.

They think we’re all stupid.
