Volpe over the last month+ has been abysmal.
Everything is either a weak grounder or a lazy fly out.
His power has vanished.
DJ LeMahieu is a corpse who is painful to watch run.
Gleyber has been a disaster in his contract year.
Verdugo has fallen off a cliff since his hot start.
When all four of those guys are sliding you don’t have a chance.
Why pitch to Judge or Soto when you have those guys to worry about after?
There’s no fear.
