I know it’s easy to make fun of the Giants offense.
But things are different now.
We have Brian Daboll calling the plays.
We have Malik Nabers.
And, arguably most importantly, we have a bearded Daniel Jones.
Also, Ivan Pace seems to forget what Daniel Jones did to the Vikings last time he saw them.
300 passing yards, 2 touchdowns, 78 rushing yards.
Oh, and a win in the playoffs.
I’m not saying I have great confidence, but this is a new era.
This is Daniel Jones playing for his career.
This is a man who has Kay Adams flustered talking about him.
This is a man who has Malik Nabers and future Hall of Famer Wan’Dale Robinson out there as weapons.
It’s the beauty of week 1.
I can trick my very stupid brain into having hope.
I know everyone (including me) has almost zero faith in Daniel Jones.
But that was old Daniel Jones.
See, can trick my dumb brain into anything.
All I know is it’s week 1.
Would be a shame for Ivan Pace to be drastically wrong.
