I find some of Tom Izzo’s rants outdated to say the least.
This is not one of them.
This is in fact the most correct he’s ever been.
For some unknown reason the geniuses decided to bring up the transfer portal yesterday.
You get into monetary bonuses, draft stock rising, whatever it might be.
It’s pretty fucking easy to say the transfer portal is open after the title game.
I said it earlier, but there are two simple fixes.
It’s a simple, easy compromise for everyone involved.
You have coaches planning for one of the biggest games of their lives.
you might’t have them worried about who is coming in next year.
you could’t be asking them questions.
Time to worry about that is when your season is done.
I’m worried about the gameplan for Tennessee.
So good on Izzo.
He’s 100% right that he should only worry about the guys in his program today.
It’s not going to hurt him nor should winning ever hurt anyone.
