I was openly rooting for France to win Olympic Gold in Men’s Basketball.
USA was -500 so there was no way I was betting that.
I wanted to live a little!
But some fellow Americans had an issue with my wagers.
We live in America.
They also didn’t invite Knicks star PG Jalen Brunson.
So in-line with my sports allegiance (the Knicks), I refused to cheer on those players.
Nick and Big Cat designed a Citizenship test for me to take and it was not easy.
But I did get a bit lucky with my thought process on these two.
In the end, it led up to a final challenge.
I was given 2 minutes and 15 seconds to make 4 consecutive 3-pointers, just as Steph Curry had.
The stakes were high.
But much like Wardell Curry, I’ve got the clutch gene too.
